Indian Meadow Herbals is Becoming

Indian Meadow Herbals (IMH) got its start in 1994 in Eastbrook, Maine. The company’s mission was to produce environmentally conscious herbal products while providing education in the nutritive value and proper use of herbs.

In 2020, current owners, Nora Elwood and Terry Elwood, bought the business and moved manufacturing to Minneapolis, MN. Nora merged her previous business, Natural Body Care, with IMH and continued her quest to keep environmentally conscious skincare products on the market.

Over the past four years, Nora and Terry have made significant advancements to grow the business. New USDA Organic Certified products were added to the herbal product line. Packaging and shipping materials have been converted to environmentally friendly reusable and recyclable materials. Additionally, the manufacturing process has been enhanced by introducing new equipment that improves the blending and emulsification of our completely natural products.

In 2025, the Indian Meadow Herbals brand will be evolving into Organic Meadow Herbals – a change that better reflects our focus on sustainability and goal of sourcing exclusively USDA Organic Ingredients. We are proud to produce an extensive and growing line of USDA Certified Organic skincare products and believe our brand name should reflect our continued commitment to the Organic Standards.

Even though our brand name is changing, you will continue to receive the same high-quality product and herbal formulas as always. As we make the transition, you will begin to see our new brand name on our website, email communications and product labels.
